There is an enthusiasm that travels throughout Trainfest. For two days adults become kids, kids become hobbyists, and hobbyists become kids… In a way, we envy those of you that will be attending Trainfest for the first time, but we’re grateful for the vicarious discovery you’ll give us.

Many of us were introduced to model trains when we were kids and immediately were hooked. That’s why we have kid-friendly activities, so that families know how important their presence at Trainfest truly is. Part of our mission is not only to support today’s hobby of model railroading, but also to inspire the hobbyists of tomorrow.
