The Trainfest Experience  November 14 & 15

For two days every November, over 21,000 modelers, families and the locomotively curious converge at Trainfest (more than 23,000 in 2010!). Why you ask? Well, prepare to be astonished. In 200,000 square feet, you will enjoy more than 50 super detailed, highly creative scenic layouts that deliver a lasting impression. And, you have to see them to believe them! That’s why Trainfest continues to be America’s Largest Operating Model Railroad Show.

There is an enthusiasm that travels throughout Trainfest. For two days adults become kids, kids become hobbyists, and hobbyists become kids… In a way, we envy those of you that will be attending Trainfest for the first time, but we’re grateful for the vicarious discovery you’ll give us.

It’s in the imaginations of all these “kids,” as they stare at the vast country sides of Styrofoam and plastic, where these layouts truly come to life. Many of us were introduced to model trains when we were kids and immediately were hooked. That’s why we have kid-friendly activities, so that families know how important their presence at Trainfest truly is. Part of our mission is not only to support today’s hobby of model railroading, but also to inspire the hobbyists of tomorrow.

And whether you’re looking to expand your layout or just beginning with the hobby, Trainfest is host to 130 manufacturers and hobby dealers showcasing the latest products and offering many great deals. They come from all over the country and are ready to share the best tips in the industry.

Come, join us for a great ride and discover the magic of model railroading first hand. You’re sure to leave with an enduring memory, and you might just start a new family tradition.

See you at Trainfest Nov. 14 & 15, 2015!

The Great Scale Model Train Show for over 27 years has provided a marketplace for everyone who enjoys building, operating, or simply watching scale model railroads. It's the largest show in the country dedicated to "scale" model trains, -- model trains that are intended to be reasonably accurate scale models. The merchandise at our shows includes all the common scales from Z to large scale. And there's much more than just the trains -- shop for scenery, tools, electronics, parts, videos, books, building supplies, software, display cases... everything you could want to make your hobby more enjoyable!
